Why diagnostics come first
Modern diesel trucks are run by computers. Engine control modules, sensors and emissions systems all talk to each other, and one fault can set several warning lights. A fault code tells you where to start looking, not what to replace. Careful testing finds the actual cause before any parts are ordered.

- Diesel particulate filter (DPF) problems and regenerations that will not finish

How a diagnostic visit works
- Tell us what the truck is doing and when it started.
- We scan the engine computer and record the fault codes.
- We test the systems involved to confirm the cause.
- We explain what we found, what it will take to fix and get your approval.
- We repair the truck and clear the codes once the fault is fixed.

Common questions
Can I keep driving with the check-engine light on?
A steady light means a fault has been stored, and it should be checked soon. A flashing light, a derate or a stop-engine light means you should stop safely and call us.
Why not just clear the codes?
Clearing codes turns the light off but does not fix the cause. The fault usually comes back, and on emissions systems it can lead to a failed Clean Truck Check.
