Liftgates work hard on every stop, and most failures come from the hydraulic, electrical or mechanical parts that wear with use. We diagnose the problem and repair it so the gate works safely again.

Signs your liftgate needs service:

• The gate will not raise, lowers on its own or moves slowly
• Hydraulic fluid leaking from the pump, hoses or cylinders
• The motor clicks or runs but nothing moves
• Controls that work only some of the time
• A platform that sits crooked, bent hinges or worn pins and bushings

Back door and roll-up door repair

We also repair the rear doors on box and delivery bodies: roll-up doors that stick or will not stay up, worn rollers and tracks, broken latches and handles, and damaged hinges and seals on swing doors.

Keep it working

Regular checks catch most liftgate problems early. A good routine includes checking the hydraulic fluid level, looking for leaks and worn hoses, keeping the battery and cables in good shape, and greasing pivot points. We can look over the liftgate when the truck is in for other service or a BIT or DOT inspection.
